The condition assessment program included 100 percent close-up inspection of the terracotta, granite, window frames and brickwork from swing stage. In addition, several inspection openings were made to evaluate the condition of steel back-up supports, anchorages, and condition of the existing wood framing.
The renovation program included repair/replacement and cleaning of terra cotta, granite, and brickwork. Also, the program included rehabilitation of all exterior window wood frames, replacement of existing glass with energy efficient insulating glass and weather stripping. The program also included mock-up testing and replacement of all existing hardware with new operable brass hardware.
