Safety Auditors promote personal safety and enhance safe work practices by monitoring field activities, employee performance, and workplace behaviors. The Safety Auditing Program encompasses all field operations, including personal safety practices, slip, trip, and fall prevention, ergonomics, work area protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), red zone safety, electrical safety, material handling, tool safety, excavation safety, vehicle safety, and equipment safety.

Safety Auditors focus on ensuring the timely and effective implementation of established safety and quality policies and procedures. Through proactive monitoring, coaching, and engagement with leadership and field personnel, auditors promote a strong safety culture centered on accountability, hazard recognition, and personal responsibility. Their efforts support continuous improvement in workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and overall operational performance.

All safety inspections are documented in comprehensive reports submitted to management, detailing observations, identified hazards, and recommended corrective actions. Any conditions presenting an immediate threat to life or safety are communicated directly to affected workers and promptly reported to the onsite Superintendent and/or Safety Director before the auditor leaves the site. This approach supports timely hazard mitigation, corrective action, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
