In this position you would have the opportunity to work in our Environmental division where we provide a full range of environmental due diligence services for our clients, which include local and state government agencies, land developers, and lending institutions. Our scientists and engineers have performed environmental due diligence assessments at a variety of sites ranging from undeveloped properties to complex industrial facilities. Our valuable advantage to our clients combines the strengths of our in-house engineering and design capabilities with our construction and remediation expertise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare paperwork and coordinate daily field service and transportation jobs
  • Provide waste profiling, manifesting and management
  • Track production, waste, and budget variances
  • Read and interpret analytical data used to characterize waste streams
  • Identify out-of-scope services, collaborating with the Department Director and client to quote projects and profile materials before providing service

Mid-level Environmental Scientist / Geologist / Engineer with 3 - 5+ years of experience. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Provide field and office support on a variety of environmental services including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental     remediation, and environmental compliance programs.
  • Develop work plans, health and safety plans, field sampling plans, sampling and analysis plans
  • Perform field data collection and documentation related to site investigations; observation of drilling operations; installation of water wells or soil borings, lithological logging; and various field tests and measurements of soil, air, surface water and/or groundwater properties.
  • Provide oversight of investigation and remediation subcontractors including laboratories, excavation and drilling companies.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of environmental projects, ensuring that tasks are executed according to the project timeline and meet client needs. Projects can range from small site assessments to large-scale environmental remediation efforts.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring resource allocation is efficient and on target. Monitor timelines and ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Prepare soil boring logs, cross-sections, contour maps, well schematics, and site maps
  • Draft comprehensive technical reports, including environmental assessments, audit findings, regulatory compliance reports, and recommendations for     mitigation or improvement.
