SPC was retained by McGuire Igleski & Associates (MIA) to conduct a pre-renovation hazardous material building survey. Renovation included windows and facade repairs to stop the water infiltration on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building.
The purpose of this survey was to identify suspect asbestos-containing material (ACM), Lead-based Paint (LBP), and Mold/Moisture Damaged building materials that may need abatement/mitigation prior to planned renovation and repairs. Significant mold/moisture damaged was identified during survey. SPC prepared mold remediation drawings, specifications, and cost estimate for MIA. During mold remediation, SPC provided construction administration by conducting periodic inspection and collecting close-out documents.
